Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), the Chartered body for health and safety professionals, is a UK-based organization offering professional qualifications in order to raise standards of health and safety in the workplace.
This month, ASSENT STEEL organized a 3-day training session for 20 of its staff to complete the IOSH certification.
The three-day course upskilled our managers and supervisors with the knowledge and skills they need to manage health and safety within our teams. The courses completed covered responsibilities for health and safety, hazard identification, assessing and controlling risks, accident investigation, and measuring performance.
ASSENT STEEL believes that providing this training gives our leaders the confidence to drive health and safety performance within our teams and improve the health and safety culture of ASSENT STEEL as a whole.
ONE TEAM, ONE GOAL – SAFE EVERYDAY.
