National Welding Month - We appreciate our Welders!

April is marked as the “National Welding Month” by American Welding Society in 1996 to honor the welding industry and the craftsmen who strive to keep the world together one weld at a time.

During this month, the American Welding Society raises awareness about the shortage of skilled welding professionals in the welding industry and its career options, as well as celebrating the work of welders who have given non-stop excellence and constructed the world we live in for generations.

Qualified welders not only ensure that the product rolls off the assembly line and the building & steel structures is built, but also guarantees that projects are completed with high quality international standards.

Qualified welders always give the assurance to the company as well as to the customer that the welding performed by personnel who has been tested and qualified to meet the requirements of international standards.

At ASSENT Steel, we have the robust selection process of assessment, training, qualification and upgrading of welders to match with the requirements of international standards such as American Welding Society, Canadian Welding Bureau, and European Standards. Finally, these processes enable the welders to be masters in different welding process and positions to produce 100% sound and quality weld metal than bare metal which give the confidence to the customers.

We have around 250 + welders qualified in different welding processes such as SMAW, FCAW, SAW etc and the welding positions span from 1G to 6GR.

Each welder has been assessed and monitored in their performance and been trained to improve their skills and qualifications to meet different international standards.

Our certified Welders are knowledgeable and have proven skills to ensure good, secure welds.
